I am a freelance photographer & graphic designer currently living in Atlanta, GA...

I was born in Istanbul, Turkey and moved to the United States with my parents at the age of 7. I have lived in Raleigh, North Carolina up until my recent move to the Atlanta area. I will be attending the Savannah College of Art & Design this Fall in downtown Atlanta, pursuing a bachelor of fine arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Photography.

I enjoy experimenting with new mediums of art and going wherever my spontaneous bursts of creativity take me. I dabble in cooking and love being outdoors with my dog.

I have enjoyed playing around with cameras ever since my parents bought me my first digital point-and-shoot, but my passion for photography took a turn for the serious towards the end of high school. I became more and more involved in my school photography club and soon invested in a DSLR camera. I especially enjoy creating abstract still life shoots with everyday objects, trying to give a new perspective on things many would consider "ordinary".

I stumbled into graphic design by accident after an article I wrote was published in a college magazine. I was offered a position to be part of the CAROLINA PASSPORT layout design staff and before I knew it I was self-teaching my way through Adobe InDesign on a Mac.

Since I had always had a passion for detail in my mixed media experience, I quickly fell in with love with the possibilities that graphic design offered me and decided to pursue it more seriously. Since then I have also had an internship as lead graphic designer for a t-shirt design non-profit named Voraci-Tee based in Chapel Hill, NC.
